2017

 2017

I have always wondered what my 2017 teacher would be. I will be moving into year 5. When 2016 started I thought that it would feel like a decade by the end of the year. But it feels like only yesterday 2016 started. It's already December the fifth. I can almost remember the whole year of 2015. I'm nervous for 2017, but can't wait to find out my class for next year. And how it's almost Christmas is making my mind spin. I'm thinking to much about 2017 and should probably worry about what I'm doing in the week and maybe next week. But worrying about next year is a bit to much for my brain. I already started to think about my room theme for next year. I'm worrying more about 2017 more then I am worrying about Christmas presents.

Cats

Cats

Do you ever come home and wonder where your cat is, but little did you know that you walked right past it thinking it was a cushion. Well it's happened to me before.

Or have you ever thought that your cushion was your cat so you pat the cushion embarrassing yourself. It's definitely happened to me before.

Summer

The winds fingers run through my hair.
I can feel the waves gentle splash raise up to my knees.
The soft petals feel like fluffy cats.

The trees careful whisper you can hardly hear.
The sound of kids laughing brings joy to my heart.
The sound of waves splashing is encouraging me to swim.

I can smell a BBQ, I'm hungry.
The smell of flowers smell like candy.
I can smell fresh orange juice, I'm thirsty.

The taste of cooked sausage is burning my mouth.
The taste of happiness is beautiful.
The taste of a fruit smoothie makes me feel great.

I can see the majestic sunrise,
the kids swimming,
and last but not least the magical sunset.

Europe

Europe

Singapore.......
"Whoa! This place is AMAZING!!! There's SO much to do!" Mum says in excitement. "Wow! Is that the Eiffel tower! "No. We're not even in Paris." Dad looks annoyed. " We're in Singapore." They look around. They  see a very VERY big building. "What's that building?" Mum asked. "How am I suppose to know? Though I have heard it a hotel."

Did you know that the pool on top of the building is as long as the Eiffel tower laid down?

Paris.......
"Now is that the Eiffel tower?" Mum looks excited. "Yes". Says Dad. "I'v heard that there is really good macrons here. Can we get one?" "No". "Why?" "Just because." "Selfie time!" "Fine." (They take a selfie in front of the Eiffel tower.)

Did you know that you can marry a dead person in France?

Barcelona.....
''Whoa calm down!" They see a car speeding down the road. CRASH! "So cars speed in that country huh." CRASH! "Not another one." Dad says. Cars kept speeding and crashing. "Let's get out of here." "Why? I want to explore." They walk back.
Wait did I ever tell you they were going on a cruise?

Did you know there's a car crash every 19 seconds?

Writing-Character Portrait

My character portrait

Her hair proudly drifts down to her shoulders, with a faded  blood red tint. Her face is shaped like a baby melon. Her skin is only slightly tanned. Her nose is shaped like an upside down ice cream cone. And her mouth is small and has peachy red lips outlining it. Her warm smile lightens up your day. Her rich brown eyes twinkle in the dark and it looks as if silver balls are running up her ears. Her midnight black clothes make her look like a vampire in the shadows. Her legs are normally covered in dark blue jeans. And her boots are normally pitch black.

She is messy with clothes on the floor,  junk food packets, a never made bed, plates and cups everywhere. She is sometimes lazy which is why her room is normally messy. Most of the time she is hardworking and healthy.

She’s normally nice and caring. She is kind and always thinking about other people. She makes you feel special just by her warm smile. She can sometimes be a bit mean but she normally makes you laugh. She also makes you feel special when she bakes for you. When you come in the front door the first thing you hear is her voice saying “Hi can I help you with anything?”
I can tell she loves everyone the same.

The Cross Country Race

The cross country day is finally here!

Before the race I felt anxious and apprehensive. I had butterflies in my tummy…... but I was still a little excited. Even though I was nervous I was still pumped and ready for the race. I was more worried about coming last.

CLAP! The clappers crack together creating a sound as loud as an explosion and the race begins. I feel like the wind is pushing me forward telling me to go faster. My arms remain at a normal pace. I can feel a river of sweat running down my cheeks. My first lap was done. “I can do it, I can do it!” I chant to myself.

After my second lap I was exhausted. I could see the the finish line in the corner of my eye. I can hear the spectators cheering and with a little burst of speed I dash to the finish line. Yay! Although I did not win I’m still proud that I did not stop. I’m so relieved it was over!

The Moon

538024-bigthumbnail.jpg

Have you ever looked up into the night sky and seen that white glowing orb, and wondered what does the moon really do?

First off, astronauts. Landing on the moon isn’t always successful. Sometimes it is, being on the moon isn’t the same as being on earth. Traveling to the moon even. You would have to pack dried fruit and hard ice cream.

It takes about 28 to 31 days for the moon to orbit the earth. In the month the moon changes shapes which is known as moon phases. It goes from new moon to waxing to half moon to waning and then full moon.

When you land on the moon it has less gravity, so when you jump you will jump higher and go down slower. You don’t go into space with your normal clothes on. You have to put on this suit called an astronaut suit. It helps you to breathe and stay on the moon.

Now do you think the moon is important? By the way you can’t live on the moon. It’s impossible to live on the moon because there is no grass to grow anything and we would freeze to death since the earth can cover the sun.
