Calendar art 2016

On my calendar art it's a cat and bunny rabbit looking up at the moon, and there is a tree swaying in the shadows. I put lots of effort in to my picture. I used oil pastels. I practised and practised till I got the right effect.

The fantastic sleepover

It was another day, an exciting day, a fantastic day, a awesome day!  It was finally the day my best friend came for a sleepover! It all started at 7:30 pm when my best friend Isabella came to my house. When Isabella came to my house she brought chocolate pudding, chicken nuggets and Ovi. If you don't know what Ovi is, it is a drink a fizzy drink. After a while  Isabella came running and bumped me but of course bad luck swirled around me, and of course I was drinking my drink when she bumped me and some of my drink got spilled on my B.F.F.L socks. It was nearly nine o'clock and it was finally time to.................PARTY! So me and Isabella got some snacks like musli bars, chips, Le-snack and more chips. A party without music is not a party. So we listened to this song called there's a cat licking my birthday cake. We had a pillow fight but more a stuffed animal fight. The party went on for about 51 minuets till my mum came in and said we needed to go to sleep. Now it was 10.00pm. Isabella and I got in bed and talked for a while and then we decided to go to sleep.

The next morning me and Izzy (aka Isabella) got up and went and had Nutella on toast. A while after that me and Izzy played hide and seek. Ok let me just tell you I had the best hiding spot ever! Guess where it was. You will probably never guess! It was the pantry! It took about 10 whole minuets before Izzy could find me. My mum said she needed to go to the mall but she would not leave us alone in the house so we went to the mall with her. At the mall we needed to go to farmers so in farmers me and Izzy did hand claps. There was this baby in the mall who was copying us but it got more funny when me and Izzy were walking away the baby started following us. After farmers we saw there was ice skating at the mall it was free! So my mum let us and when we were waiting in line we saw our friend Heeneli. I was scared I was going to fall but Izzy didn't think she was going to fall. I noticed there was snow and ice, but more like water and soap. When it was finally our turn me and Izzy got on our shoes and started ice skating. The funny thing was I was the one who was scared of falling and Izzy was the confident one and she fell 5 times and I fell 0 times. When we got home from the mall It was nearly time for Izzy to go home so we played a game of Mancala. When it was finally time for Izzy to go home I waved goodbye and hugged her. It was the bested sleepover ever!
